Regardless of the training it won’t work without adult supervision.
Sound marketing is not about opinions of senior managers but a discipline.
“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” – President John F. Kennedy
An organization is only as strong as its weakest link. If senior business leaders are not familiar with and/or don’t practice the science of marketing, training of marketers will be foiled. Unfortunately, many senior managers, particularly those from other functions, think marketing is about opinions, thwarting sound marketing and dampening business results.
BDNI offers a variety of Coaches’ Clinics to familiarize senior managers responsible for approving marketing with proven principles, best practices and quality processes, leading to their institutionalization and the development of a performance-driven culture. This helps provided important leverage in making marketing matter more.
BDNI offers the following three clinics that correspond with its core marketing training programs:
- Power Brand Positioning to Create Brand Loyalty
- Getting to Leadership Communications that drive incremental sales
- Marketing-By-Objectives to create a Performance-Driven Culture
We recognize that many senior managers perceive themselves as too busy to devote attention to organization development. So, these programs are merely ½-day each. Additionally, we use the client company’s work (e.g. creative briefs, positioning strategies, communications and marketing initiatives, etc.) to demonstrate to senior managers that they can make a difference in the performance of their marketers and business results.
Who Would Benefit From This Program?
All those senior managers responsible for managing marketing or approving the work of marketers. This includes Marketing Directors, VPs of Marketing and other functional areas that work closely with marketing, CMOs and General Managers.
