Ron Hirasawa has held key management positions with Procter & Gamble, S.C. Johnson & Son, United Brands, Leo Burnett Worldwide, and Don Tennant Advertising. He started American Marketing Services Corporation, a consulting company. More recently, he served in the roles of President, COO, CEO, Chairman of General Products & Services Corporation, a diversified snack food manufacturer and distributor.
Mr. Hirasawa holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from the Wharton School of Business and an MBA in Marketing from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict, reaching the rank of Captain. He is a professor at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where he received the Distinguished Faculty Award for 2005, presented to one faculty member annually for MBA teaching excellence. He lectures on Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Innovation, Ethics, and Strategic Management.
